Welcome to Young Airstreamers Blog! To get the full-recap of how Lauren and Deb have become young airstreamers, please visit: The Story.
Who we are:
Lauren Coleman: Lauren Coleman is a Floridian by birth....and don't you forget it. Brought up in a family of photographers, business owners, and gardeners, it wasn't a real leap when Lauren decided that she wanted to combine art with business while working on organic farms. After graduating from Hollins University with a degree in Film and Photography, she went on to become a web/graphic designer. Lauren's greatest fear -- existing in the world, rather then living in the world --is the pivotal force for her decision to seek non-traditional mobile living. Selling off all belongings to travel in an RV is her next step towards living the motto, "there is no dress rehearsal for life".
Deb Cuny: Deb grew-up traveling the country via pop-up trailer with her family. One of the family's "fondest" memories is a 3.5 week vacation traveling from Virginia to San Fran...and back. In total, her family spent over 122 hours in the car - a car where two of the passengers were angsty teenagers. One of the teenagers (cough, cough, her sister) was quoted saying, "Niagra Falls. It is just falling water. What is the big deal?"
Also a Hollins University graduate, Deb has never been much for doing things "just 'cause". This trip is symbolic of her life mission, which is to constantly find The Sacred through new experiences.
Deb's love of possibilities and people makes her the perfect mate to Lauren's dreams and hobbies.
Luckily, they both share a mutual love for the Airstream. :)
